Preschool Teacher​/Assistant

Small Blessings Child Care is a faith based preschool conveniently located close to downtown. We are currently seeking new, dynamic, energetic, creative and passionate employees to join our education team. • Must understand and meet the physical, emotional and educational needs of each student.
• Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a positive learning environment.
• Plan and implement daily lesson plans using age appropriate curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Organize and keep classroom tidy.
• Implement good hygiene skills and sanitizing practices.
• Open communication with office and parents.
• Complete a minimum of 10 hours in-service training annually.
• Keep all certifications current.
• Follow all policies and procedures of the school.

• High school diploma.
• 45 hours DCF mandated training.
• Minimum 1 Year Early Childhood Experience.
• Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
• Current CDA or Early Childhood degree preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid training preferred.
• Must have clear level 2 background screening.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English.
