Job Responsibilities

  • Monitors and creates new administrative systems and procedures to ensure continued program efficiency, documentation and institutional knowledge on the delivery of instructional and academic support services to faculty and staff.
  • Collects, analyse, prepare reports and coordinate the use of data to inform planning and efforts to achieve academic and student success priorities.
  • Collaborates with Deans and faculty in curriculum development and program assessment to ensure alignment with instructional practice and methodologies.
  • Supports recruitment and retention programs; including but not limited to class scheduling, advising, learning assessment and learning support.
  • Supports Campus leadership in all aspects of enrollment planning and reporting; including student performance and success measures.
  • Collaborates with Campus leadership to support strategic planning and ongoing maintenance of accreditation standards.
  • Collaborates with Campus and College leaders in the student conflict resolution process; provides support in managing associated online tools, oversight and training of Campus student ombudsman.
  • Partners with Campus leadership to onboard and identify professional development opportunities for part-time faculty and staff.
  • Partners with Campus leadership in budget planning and development.
  • Works collaboratively with Campus operations team to schedule facilities effectively and efficiently with College constituents and educational and community partners.
  • Partners with the evening and weekend manager, the campus operations manager and academic and student affairs leaders. May participate in College and campus operations teams.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum Education:

    Master’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Field of Study: (Other)
  • In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution, and two (2) years of related experience to include managing projects, leading teams, and collaborating with various leaders and departments.

    • One (1) year of experience in enrollment management.
    • Two (2) years of experience in the planning, design, and implementation of academic and student support services.

    • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communications skills.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students, staff, representatives of governmental agencies, educational institutions, the military, and the public.
    • Ability to use critical thinking in assessing situations and making sound and prudent decisions.
    • Ability to research data, make recommendations, and prepare reports.
    • Ability to assist in the budget development process.
    • Ability to work effectively in a diverse community and meet the needs of diverse student populations.
Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and throughout the College’s worksites and grounds. Within the professional office environment, the employee will routinely operate standard office equipment including but not limited to computers, keyboards, mouse, phones, photocopiers, printers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. The noise level in the office work environment is usually quiet and occasionally moderate.

While operating outside of the office environment, the employee may be exposed to elements including but not limited to wet/humid weather, extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke and unpleasant odours. The role may also involve hazards or physical risks, which require comprehending and following basic safety precautions and may require Personal Protection Equipment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud.
