Position Overview
gt.school enables talented students to finish high school by 8th grade—5‑10x faster than conventional timelines. You will use AI‑driven adaptive learning to customize each learner’s path, cultivating academic excellence, emotional intelligence, and resilience. This is not a traditional teaching position; you are a mentor and coach who applies AI technology and motivational strategies to support gifted children in completing high school years ahead of schedule.
No classroom management or conventional instruction is required.
- Mentor and inspire gifted students to finish high school by 8th grade using personalized, accelerated learning pathways
- Guide students in developing life skills (focus, public speaking, grit, resilience) in addition to academic objectives
- Use AI tools to monitor student progress, customize learning experiences, and adapt instruction
- Encourage students to progress through adaptive learning applications and reach ambitious learning targets
- Work alongside a team defining education for high‑achieving learners
- Willing to work in‑person in Austin (Georgetown), TX
- Proven track record of academic excellence (prestigious scholarships, academic Olympiads, National Merit Scholar, dual‑enrollment, etc.)
- At least 3 years of experience coaching, mentoring, or teaching high‑achieving youth or gifted and talented students
- Daily use of generative AI tools in an educational setting (adapting instruction, creating assessments, personalizing lessons)
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills
- Legal right to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship

Working with UsThis is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position immediately available.
