About This Role
Instructor for classroom, instrument ground trainer, SIM and flight training activities.
Primary duties and responsibilities:- Conduct ground and flight simulator training for trainees at SIMCOM.
- Evaluate the trainees' progress in gaining skills and knowledge by the standards established ntain competency and qualification authorized to instruct.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
- A solid base of knowledge is an essential part of what customers expect from their instructor. You must demonstrate competent instructional knowledge in a dynamic learning environment. Learn new skills that directly affect product value.
- Effectively evaluate customer training needs and proficiently coach and instruct.
- Employ creative and innovative teaching methods.
- Attain applicable ratings and qualifications in an economical and timely manner.
- A current CFI certificate with multi-engine instrument ratings is required for full time employment. Any loss of certificate privileges may result in permanent dismissal from the company.
- Value is a measure of quality and price. A measure of success is the degree of value you provide your customers. You have a direct impact on price through the efficient use of resources.
- Productively maximize the use of your time as well as your customer's.
- Personalize and tailor instruction to optimize learning and satisfy customer needs. Provide and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Sim Com offers training for its customers seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. The utilization of your instructional services will be scheduled in accordance with customer training needs. Although normal expectations of a work day/week length are typically that which you might expect, understand you may be assigned duties any time we are open for business, with compensatory time-off awarded in accordance with the Sim Com personnel handbook.
- You are normally closer to the customer than any other associate. Be sensitive to individual needs and respond proactively, with effective decision making within the scope of your responsibility and authority and on the basis of common sense and within the context of our Mission and Strategy.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
- CFI/II Instruction experience is required
- 1000hrs dual given is required
- FAA ATP is highly preferred
- FAA medical is highly preferred
- Airline experience glass cockpit preferred
