Pediatric Intensivist - Advent Health for Children
OverviewAdvent Health for Children is seeking a Pediatric Intensivist to join our growing team. We have an active Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) Program, a pediatric residency program with twelve residents per year, clinical research opportunities, and a 22‑bed pediatric ICU that maintains its own leadership structure and physician staff.

- Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Critical Care

This employment opportunity includes benefits of call coverage and competitive compensation. Our Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children is a full‑service, tertiary children's hospital with over 200 dedicated pediatric beds, more than 35 pediatric ICU beds with a dedicated pediatric CICU, a 102‑bed NICU, 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system. We began a comprehensive pediatric open‑heart program in 2012 and have a strong track record of positive outcomes.
Key destination programs include a Level IV epilepsy program, the region’s only BMT and solid‑organ transplant services including kidney and liver, and a 150‑bed NICU added in 2017. Advent Health for Children has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as the best children’s hospital for newborn care in Florida and by The Leapfrog Group as a top children’s hospital for quality and safety.
