Medical Geneticist, Advent Health, Orlando, Florida

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic medical geneticist to join our team at Advent Health Medical Genetics & Genomics program in Orlando, Florida. You would join our two other physicians and genetic counselors and continue to grow our dynamic program. The new physician would collaborate within our multidisciplinary teams of experienced clinicians in pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, general pediatrics, hematology/oncology, MFM, neurology and transplantation surgery.

We aspire to provide comprehensive state of the art genetic and genomic services to all patients within the Advent Health system (locally, regionally and nationally). The new physician would have the ability to work in both an outpatient and inpatient setting along with fulfilling personal research and teaching interests. Requirements include board eligibility or board certification in Clinical Genetics through the American Board of Medical Genetics & Genomics.

Our physicians are working directly with our state-of-the-art neonatology and pediatric liver transplant programs to develop a metabolic disorders program at Advent Health for Children that will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents with various metabolic diseases. Together with the pediatric liver transplantation program, we offer liver transplantation for children with urea cycle disorders, MSUD, MMA & PA.
