The Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children is looking for a dynamic and energetic general pediatric neurologist to join a fast‑growing multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience program to help further develop general and subspecialty neuroscience programs. The pediatric neuroscience center has a Level IV comprehensive epilepsy center, sleep center, multidisciplinary neurofibromatosis clinic, tuberous sclerosis complex clinic, congenital neurosurgery clinic, and craniofacial clinic supported by a strong group of neuroradiologists and neuropsychologists.

The program includes a dedicated 8‑bed epilepsy monitoring unit, 5 dedicated outpatient EEG rooms, ambulatory EEGs, and a state‑of‑the‑art 3T MRI, PET, SPECT, and MEG center.

Responsibilities of the new physician will include delivering comprehensive general neurology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. There is a substantial opportunity to build subspecialty programs, including (but not limited to) neuromuscular, neonatal, immunology, stroke, neurocutaneous syndrome, movement disorder, and spasticity.

• Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualification in pediatric neurology
• Current FL license, or ability to obtain
• Strong communication skills with a patient‑first mindset

This employment opportunity includes second‑call coverage, competitive compensation, occurrence‑based malpractice coverage, paid leave days, CME days and allowance, a 403(b) retirement plan, health insurance for the physician and family, and a relocation allowance. The Walt Disney Pavilion at Advent Health for Children is a full‑service, tertiary children’s hospital with more than 200 dedicated pediatric beds, 30+ pediatric ICU beds including a dedicated pediatric CICU, a 102‑bed NICU, 17‑bed pediatric emergency department, and a statewide pediatric network and transport system.
