Overview
Advent Health Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is seeking board-certified critical care physicians with anesthesia, internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine backgrounds and experience in VV and VA cannulation to be a part of our expanding critical care team. This position would be focused as part of our innovative Extracorporeal Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (ECPR) Program and resuscitation response system at our Advent Health Orlando campus.
- VV and VA cannulation
- ECMO Management
- Critical care management and general critical care responsibilities
- Provide PRN coverage for the ECPR program in our state-of-the-art facilities.
- Collaborate with emergency medicine, intensivists, cardiology specialists, and county emergency management to deliver high-quality care during ECPR interventions.
- Perform patient evaluations and deliver direct medical care following established ECPR protocols.

Requirements for position- Current board certification in Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, or related specialties.
- Fellowship training in Critical Care required.
- Active, unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Proficiency in ECMO and cannulation (VV and VA), with the ability to provide a log of such expertise and independently perform these procedures
- ELSO or equivalent ECMO management certification preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a high-performing team
- Physicians must be board certified in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine.
