Interstruct Design + Build is hiring an Architectural Designer / Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience to work out of our Orlando office. This role is for someone who can carry projects from concept through construction and is comfortable operating at the intersection of architecture and build.
We are specifically looking for candidates with healthcare and commercial renovation experience and a strong command of construction documents . If you know how buildings actually get built—and enjoy collaborating closely with construction teams—you’ll fit right in.
This is a hands-on role within an architect-led design-build practice. You’ll work directly with principals and project teams, contribute to real decision-making, and see your work carried through to completion.
What You’ll Do
- Lead architectural projects from early planning through construction administration
- Produce and coordinate complete construction document sets
- Collaborate daily with in-house construction teams, consultants, and clients
- Support project management efforts, including schedules, coordination, and execution
- Contribute to healthcare and commercial renovation projects with real-world constraints and timelines
- 5–10 years of professional architectural experience (required)
- Healthcare and commercial renovation experience (required)
- Proven experience producing construction documents (required)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
- Design-build experience strongly preferred
- Prior project management or leadership experience is a plus
- Revit (required)
- Enscape
