Summary

As an Environmental Designer, you are not just designing spaces—you are crafting narratives that immerse audiences in meaningful, memorable experiences. You will work within interdisciplinary teams to imagine and execute branded environments that seamlessly blend the physical and the digital. Your role is to bring conceptual vision to life—exploring ideas, shaping stories, and translating abstract thinking into tangible environments. You are passionate about design as a catalyst for engagement, with a keen eye on cultural trends, emerging technologies, and the evolving ways people interact with space.

This position will support our Design team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in‑office and/or show‑site 2‑3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

  • Dallas, TX
  • Orlando, FL
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • McCook, IL
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead with ideas:
Generate bold, conceptual design solutions that spark curiosity and align with brand strategy. Use sketching, storytelling, and visualization to communicate the essence of an experience before it becomes real.
  • Visualize the vision:
Translate ideas into compelling presentations through sketches, diagrams, renderings, and models that inspire stakeholders and guide interdisciplinary teams.
  • Master 3D tools:
Demonstrate fluency in Sketch Up/Enscape for rapid ideation and visualization, as well as AutoCAD for precision documentation and build‑ready drawings.
  • Collaborate creatively:
Work closely with other designers and directors across disciplines to ensure every touchpoint feels connected and intentional.
  • Champion brand integrity:
Ensure environmental concepts reflect and amplify brand identity while pushing creative boundaries.
  • Engage in design thinking:
Participate in discovery sessions, pin‑ups, and iterative reviews to refine ideas and elevate the collective vision.
  • Balance concept and craft:
While your strength lies in ideation, you understand architectural systems, fabrication methods, materials usage, and production realities—bridging imagination with feasibility.
  • Adapt and evolve:
Stay curious about trends in architecture, retail, hospitality, and experiential design, bringing fresh perspectives to every project.
  • Think fast, juggle priorities:
Thrive in a fast‑paced environment by multi‑tasking across projects, responding quickly to challenges, and working the necessary hours to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Hybrid Work Environment:
This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring three in‑office days per week. The role is based near major office hubs in Dallas, Chicago, Orlando, and Las Vegas.
