We are a highly reputable cosmetic and implant dentistry practice that focuses on smile design and full mouth reconstruction. We offer full service dentistry, and have the highest level of technology available to do nearly every type of treatment in one location. We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and experienced dentist to join our growing rockstar team. In this position, you will be responsible for the oral health of your patients.
You will perform procedures to diagnose and treat cavities, cracked or fractured teeth, missing teeth and oral diseases. You will also administer medications and anesthetics for tooth extractions, root canals, implants, dentures, and other surgical procedures. Experience with a fully digital crown workflow, including intraoral scanning, digital crown design, exporting designs for CEREC milling, and performing post-milling procedures such as staining, glazing, and sintering prior to crown placement is essential as we create and deliver our prosthetics same-day.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Diagnose, explain, educate patients on findings and treat oral diseases
- Communicate with EFDA to create prioritized treatment plans
- Prescribe antibiotics and pain-relieving medications
- Provide patient care for cracked or fractured teeth
- Perform procedures to treat decay and cavities
Examine patients for dental and jaw diagnoses - Digitally design crowns, veneers, crown bridges for milling in CEREC
- Perform tooth extractions and initial root canals (anteriors, pre-molars)
- Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues
- Perform implant dentistry, bone grafts, sinus lifts, alveoloplasty
- Educate patients on aftercare and answer questions
- D.D.S. or D.M.D.
- Licensed to practice in the state of Florida
- Post Graduate training or advanced education on implant dentistry and prosthetics
- Invisalign certification required
- Familiarity with esthetic dentistry including veneers and smile design preferred
- Great interpersonal skills and excellent written/verbal communication (multi-lingual skills preferred)
- Computer skills and experience with Dentrix management system preferred
- CEREC 3D training
- Accurate and precise attention to detail
- Compassionate and caring of patients
- Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment
- Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
- Complies with all office, local, state and American Dental Association regulations, protocols, and procedures
