Responsibilities- The Ambassador greets and creates a welcoming atmosphere for customers and clients.
- Performs tasks to ensure smooth operation of the parking facility and delivers service that meets customer expectations, including assisting with entry/exit transactions and maintaining parking equipment in working order.
- Troubleshoot and address parking equipment malfunctions as needed.
- Work closely with team members, the Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to maintain cleanliness and safety standards at all times.
- Be flexible to work nights, Mondays through Sundays, holidays, and special events.
- Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Direct traffic to available parking spaces and perform vehicle counts to prevent overfilling.
- Patrol the garage and issue violation warnings for policy violations.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits; assist guests who forgot where they parked.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Garage Manager or Operations.
- Communicate respectfully with guests and relay information to the Operations Manager.
- Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or safety concerns to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
- Maintain professional communication with guests, clients, and teammates.
- Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Have basic knowledge of the parking system to add, cancel, or reset key cards.
- Oversee upkeep of the garage and report hazards to superiors promptly.
- At least 18 years of age
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to verbally communicate with guests
- Previous customer service experience, preferred
