We are hiring for Concierge!
Location: Spring Hills Hunters Creek
Schedule: Per-Diem, Shifts as needed
Position Summary:We are seeking a friendly and professional Concierge to join our team. This vital role greets residents and visitors, answers phone inquiries, responds to emergencies, relays call to the appropriate departments, and performs various clerical duties. The Concierge will report directly to the Business Office Manager/Assistant Administrator and will play a crucial part in fostering a warm and welcoming environment for everyone in our community.
Essential Functions:- Attend work as scheduled and adhere to community call-off procedures.
- Greet residents and provide general assistance to visitors, prospective residents, and families.
- Utilize excellent telephone etiquette and skills in all communications.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, door alarms, life safety systems, and building alarms to ensure resident and property safety, and investigate any unusual activity.
- Document and report any resident concerns appropriately.
- Maintain the visitor sign-in/out book and process maintenance request work orders.
- Complete daily opening and closing procedures efficiently.
- Keep emergency contact information up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Receive packages and other deliveries, sorting and holding items as requested.
- Communicate any resident issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Active Listening: Engage fully in conversations, understanding and processing information without interruption.
- Speaking: Clearly convey information and respond to inquiries effectively.
- Reading Comprehension: Understand written communications relevant to job responsibilities.
- Writing: Communicate clearly in writing tailored to the audience's needs.
- Service Orientation: Actively seek ways to assist and support residents, visitors, and colleagues.
Education:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
