Disney Central is currently looking for Latin America Consumer Direct (LACD) Specialists, bilingual English speakers with fluency in Portuguese. They focus on creating magical vacation planning experiences using extraordinary guest‑service skills and strong attention to detail, while assisting guests in Portuguese with their vacation planning. Specialists will address the needs of guests by establishing a positive rapport, emphasizing sales and service.
Job type: hourly, inbound contact center at Disney Central in Orlando, Florida. The position includes paid training and will be evaluated through multiple performance assessments.
Operating hours:
Sunday through Saturday, 7:45 a.m. to 8:15 p.m. Starting pay: $20.10 per hour.
Responsibilities
In this role, specialists meet or exceed Disney’s quality and guest‑service standards. They assist with Latin America Consumer Direct channel and Walt Disney World® Resort Room, Dine & Recreation bookings, and ticket products. The team also supports Internet Help Desk services and assists guests with website experience troubleshooting. Additionally, specialists handle guests who have already booked a resort reservation, providing services such as payment processing, reservation modifications, recommendation of additional vacation experiences, and other assigned tasks.
Basic Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Portuguese, with strong verbal and written communication and telephone etiquette skills.
- Sales and service experience in a customer service or contact‑center environment.
- Flexibility with work schedule, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong:admin/ communication skills, listening, and oral communication.
- Eagerness to learn new policies, procedures, product lines, and software applications.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and information.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Solid understanding of Walt Disney World products and services.
- Ability to interact with other Walt Disney Worldollen departments.
- Strong organization and time‑management abilities.
- Computer proficiency, including typing skills and ability to navigate multiple systems and mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of sales or service experience in a call‑center environment.
- Previous experience with Walt Disney World® system.
- Knowledge of Disney business practices, applications, and Disney websites.
- Familiarity with international vacation‑planning practices.
- Ability to work in a structured environment.
