Studio Technician (Part-Time) - WFTV Orlando
WFTV/WRDQ Orlando is looking for a Studio Technician that wants a foot in the door to television news production. This is a Part-Time position with varying hours and shifts. Flexibility to work overnights, early mornings, evenings, late nights, holidays and weekends is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Operate the prompter for live and recorded programming
- Monitoring and adjusting robotic cameras for live and recorded programming
- Manage the studio floor for live and recorded programming
- Studio maintenance and cleaning and studio preparation
- Lamp replacement for studio fixtures
- Lighting gel replacement
- Light board operation
- Assist News Production with set and lighting maintenance
- Assist in managing inventory control for batteries and bulbs
- Building support to include groundskeeping and cleaning, Event setup, Facilities maintenance, Shipping and Receiving, and assisting Engineering
- 1 year of broadcast, film or editing
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- High School Diploma
- Degree or working toward a degree in electronic media
