Design and Graphics Manager

About The Role Alliance Exposition is bringing its design and graphic capabilities in-house and is seeking an experienced Design and Graphics Manager to lead this initiative from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building, managing, and scaling Alliance’s internal design and graphic production operation, beginning with our Orlando warehouse and expanding nationally. This role requires direct experience in the tradeshow/exhibit industry and comfort operating in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment tied to live events.

• Lead the launch of Alliance’s in-house Design and Graphics department
• Hire, onboard, and manage graphic designers and print production staff
• Establish workflows, SOPs, and quality standards
• Serve as the primary owner of design and graphic production timelines
• Oversee incoming design requests triggered through Salesforce
• Assign work to designers and manage daily workload and priorities
• Ensure timely creation, proofing, revision, and approval of event graphics
• Maintain consistency with Alliance brand standards and client specifications
• Oversee proof uploads and client communication via BOX
• Manage large-format print production out of the Orlando warehouse
• Oversee graphic substrate inventory (foamcore, ultraboard, sintra, plexi, etc.)
• Coordinate print schedules with warehouse and operations teams
• Ensure quality control and readiness for showsite installation
• Partner closely with Account Management, Operations, and Warehouse teams
• Act as liaison between design, print, and executive leadership
• Support planning for future expansion to additional warehouses (e.g., Las Vegas)

• 7+ years of experience in tradeshow, exhibit, or experiential graphics
• Proven experience managing designers and/or production teams
• Strong understanding of:
  Event graphics workflows
• Large-format printing;
  Show deadlines and on-site requirements
• Experience working with client proofing systems and asset management platforms
• Ability to operate independently and build processes from the ground up

• Experience managing both design and print production
• Familiarity with Salesforce-driven workflows
• Experience scaling or transitioning teams inhouse
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
