Salary: $60,000 - $95,000 / year DOE

Position Summary

The Construction Supervisor oversees, schedules, and coordinates the work of employees in relevant construction roles to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Performance

Objectives
  • Guide, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of construction staff, contractors, suppliers, and extraction workers; ensure work is completed on schedule.
  • Ensure each assigned construction trade and extraction worker follows all safety standards.
  • Oversee the project/work site, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
  • Determine project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications such as blueprints.
  • Perform daily walkthroughs of project/work site to confirm availability and use of proper materials and tools; recognize and promptly address issues so that work can continue on schedule.
  • Resolve problems and coordinate activities for the job through collaboration and communication with other management or technical staff and contractors.
  • Conduct inspections and quality assurance tests of work and safety procedures.
  • Oversee and adhere to budgets and schedules for projects.
  • Identify and recommend solutions for production problems, as required.

  • Ability to read blueprints and other reports outlining specifications.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of related experience is required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Perform work with required/applicable PPE.
