Position SummaryThe Construction Supervisor oversees, schedules, and coordinates the work of employees in relevant construction roles to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

PerformanceObjectives
- Guide, assign, schedule, and supervise the work of construction staff, contractors, suppliers, and extraction workers; ensure work is completed on schedule.
- Ensure each assigned construction trade and extraction worker follows all safety standards.
- Oversee the project/work site, ensuring safety standards are followed and quality work is being performed in a timely manner.
- Determine project requirements and procedures, and the required materials and workers, based on given project specifications such as blueprints.
- Perform daily walkthroughs of project/work site to confirm availability and use of proper materials and tools; recognize and promptly address issues so that work can continue on schedule.
- Resolve problems and coordinate activities for the job through collaboration and communication with other management or technical staff and contractors.
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance tests of work and safety procedures.
- Oversee and adhere to budgets and schedules for projects.
- Identify and recommend solutions for production problems, as required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and subcontractors.
- Thorough understanding of relevant construction trades and practices.
- Superior organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to analyze situations and identify ways to improve efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and other reports outlining specifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of related experience is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
- Position may require travel.
- Perform work with required/applicable PPE.
