The Digital Sales, Pricing & Tender Manager will lead LEMAN USA’s pricing strategy, tender management, and digital sales initiatives to ensure competitive, accurate, and profitable growth across all logistics service lines. This role serves as a key link between Commercial, Product, Operations, and Procurement teams, aligning pricing governance, digital sales strategy, and commercial objectives to drive revenue, margin performance, and customer retention across the U.S. and Mexico markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing & Tender Management
- Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with LEMAN’s growth and profitability objectives.
- Lead and manage (support) all USA client tenders, including the U.S. component of global tenders, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive submissions.
- Build, maintain, and standardize cost models, pricing tools, and dashboards to evaluate opportunities and monitor margins.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to translate customer solutions into financially sound pricing structures and closing strategies.
- Establish pricing governance processes, approval workflows, and ongoing margin review frameworks.
- Support on maintenance and negotiation of strong relationships with co-loaders, ocean freight carriers, and airlines to secure competitive rates and capacity.
- Develop and manage procurement relationships with U.S. trucking providers, ensuring reliable service and cost‑effective inland solutions.
- Manage pricing efforts for LEMAN Mexico, including cross‑border freight, carrier procurement, and market rate analysis.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and carrier developments to ensure market‑aligned pricing.
- Provide executive‑level insights on competitiveness, customer profitability, and commercial performance.
- Collaborate with global pricing and procurement teams and serve as backup support when needed.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
This role will directly oversee approximately 14 team members based in Colombia, requiring a hands‑on leader who can drive performance, accountability, and team development across borders.
- Proven experience managing and developing mid‑sized teams (10+ employees).
- Strong understanding of Colombian labor laws and employment practices, with experience navigating compliance, performance management, and employee relations in Colombia.
- Experience working within or managing nearshoring and outsourcing business models, including establishing KPIs, productivity standards, and service‑level accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑cultural teams, foster engagement, and build a high‑performance, results‑driven environment.
- Strong organizational and change management skills, with the ability to align offshore resources with U.S. commercial and operational objectives.
The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with operational leadership, bringing cultural awareness, people development capabilities, and structured management practices to ensure the Colombia‑based team operates efficiently, compliantly, and in full alignment with LEMAN USA’s strategic goals.
Experience & Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally across U.S. and Latin American teams.
- 5–8+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, pricing, and tender management.
- Strong knowledge of airfreight, ocean freight, U.S. domestic transportation, and cross‑border Mexico logistics operations.
- Proven experience handling RFP/RFQ processes and developing financial models to support commercial decision‑making.
- Established carrier network and negotiation experience across ocean, air, co‑load, and trucking markets.
- Strong analytical, financial, and Excel skills; experience with BI tools is a plus.
- Commercially driven, detail‑oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
