Job Overview: The FOH Specialist supports daily Category manager needs from continuously evolving the catalog, managing the sample process, assists with new supplier onboarding. Helps schedule meetings with cross-functional teams and maintains the project tracker for FOH categories across 10 brands at the direction of the manager. The role can lead to continued career growth and category knowledge through the support function.

Roles And Responsibilities:
  • Support and evolve the Darden Catalog for FOH - Coupa
  • Work with key suppliers with new supplier setup, ongoing requests, follow-up and tracking
  • Execute New Supplier Welcome Packets and coordinate compliance readiness documents with suppliers
  • Run weekly Coupa contract and project reporting, inventory reports, and ad hoc reporting needs
  • Follow-through and execute the specified sample requests, thorough audit of data prior to delivery, tracking of costs, through to launch or advising supplier to pick up samples tracking and updates
  • Coordinate with category managers and suppliers to confirm product accuracy, update NRO templates, and maintain FOH catalog data.
  • Process bulk purchases in Oracle and respond to follow-up inquiries with category managers and suppliers.
  • Troubleshoot ordering or catalog issues with suppliers as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from restaurants and Facilities teams.

Maintain shared team files and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Assist with SOP updates and process improvement documentation working with leader.

Required Technical

Skills:
  • Proficient in Outlook and Windows environment (Word, Excel and Power Point)
  • 2+ years in an Office Environment; either Supply Chain or Development are a bonus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
  • Software skus or ability to learn on the job
Required

Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Other Key

Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills required to support category and 200+ projects each year
  • Possess the skills required for change management and process evolution
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain, Design or Restaurant Operations
  • High level of organizational skills and follow through abilities
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of Supply Chain Systems or Process flow to help customize on the spot solutions
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with helpful teamwork attitude
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Professionalism under pressure
  • BS Degree could be acceptable in lieu of required experience
  • Computer skills in Oracle (particularly the Bill of materials and Materials replenishment planning module)
  • Working knowledge of the Internet
  • Experience with restaurant operations, equipment, and related construction or design concepts
