Product Operations & Planning SME

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking a hybrid Product Operations & Planning SME to join their team.

This individual is responsible for establishing and operating the end-to-end product planning, prioritization, and execution framework across the organization. This role ensures the company plans intentionally; sequences work effectively, manages cross-team dependencies, and delivers against clearly defined outcomes.

This leader partners with Product, Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders to bring structure, clarity, and predictability to quarterly planning, road mapping, and delivery. The role also owns product tooling strategy and AI enablement to simplify workflows and improve decision‑making. This is a highly strategic, influence‑based role requiring strong facilitation and collaboration across the enterprise.

• Quarterly & Annual Planning Leadership

• Product Operations & COE Enablement
• Tooling Strategy & Simplification
• AI Enablement & Operational Efficiency

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Operations, or Delivery Leadership
• Proven experience operating in a Product COE, Scaled Agile, or enterprise product environment
• Strong background in quarterly planning, roadmap governance, and dependency management
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and facilitating difficult prioritization conversations
• Hands‑on experience with Jira and visual collaboration tools (e.g., Lucid)
• Demonstrated ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous environments

• Experience transitioning from Product Manager:
  Strategic/COE/Operations role
• Familiarity with SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid agile models
• Experience implementing or scaling product ops functions
• Exposure to AI‑enabled workflows in product or delivery operations
• Consulting or transformation experience in complex organizations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
