SummaryThe Senior Proposal Contracts Manager is responsible for leading mid to high complexity proposal efforts across multiple Lines of Business (LOBs). This role partners closely with opportunity owners and cross functional proposal contributors to develop persuasive semi custom proposals, scopes of work (SOWs), master service agreements (MSAs), and presentation materials. The Senior Proposal Contracts Manager demonstrates strong operational understanding, exceptional project ownership, and a high degree of independence while ensuring all deliverables meet organizational standards and strategic objectives.
This position will support our Proposals team under our Growth (Sales) group. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:
- Dallas, TX
- Orlando, FL
- Create high-quality proposal, SOWs, MSAs, and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Ensure all materials accurately showcase Freeman’s capabilities and solutions and determine appropriate customization levels through collaboration and strategic thinking.
- Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams, including strategy, design and writers as needed.
- Adhere to all contract requirements, working closely with Legal team and Contracts Clearinghouse on SOWs and MSAs as needed.
- Facilitate clear communication, objectives, and schedules among contributors.
- Provide direction and feedback to maintain accuracy and consistency in content.
- Manage project documentation and assets using MS Teams, Box, and Workfront.
- Track and report proposal progress to ensure timely updates and project closure.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
- 5-7 years’ experience working in proposals, a creative agency, corporate marketing team or similar environment in applicable areas of business development, strategic planning, and operations.
- Ability to manage multiple proposal efforts simultaneously, maintaining ownership of all associated timelines and project deliverables.
- Proactively facilitate schedules and meetings to ensure all components are completed on time.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail while balancing competing priorities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Freeman’s services, key LOBs, and core Creative functions.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, MS Teams/video conferencing tools, Box, and Workfront.
- Comfortable navigating shared drives, reviewing design assets, and collaborating digitally with distributed teams.
- Advanced MS PowerPoint proficiency preferred.
- Proven experience in proposal management, contract development, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to manage proposal workflows and deliverables with minimal oversight.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Freeman’s services, customer types, and creative workflows strongly preferred.
