Role Overview
Regional Sales Director at Simon Med Imaging.
Responsibilities- Coordinate company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
- Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets.
- Oversee and evaluate market research, adjusting marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Meet with key clients, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
- Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories, projecting expected volume for existing and new facilities.
- Recruit, select, orient, and train sales staff.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Review and analyze sales performance against programs, quotes, and plans to determine effectiveness.
- Develop and recommend facility/modality positioning and pricing strategy to achieve the highest possible long‑term market share.
- Demonstrate competencies in customer service and understand Simon Med Imaging code of conduct and culture.
- Enlist support of marketing specialists, implementation resources, service resources, and other sales and management resources as needed.
- Coordinate closely with company executives in customer management.
Adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to departmental operations and participate in activities that promote self‑growth or enhance a positive image.
Accountabilities and Performance Measures- Achieve agreed‑upon sales quota in regions of oversight.
- Manage all employees within the department, including performance management and hiring.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Job Requirements and Working Conditions
This position requires travel across the country to build relationships with large medical groups, health systems, and payers.

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2–5 years of experience in business‑to‑business sales or a related area.
- Lift and carry up to 40 pounds; sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
- Good visual and auditory acuity; manual dexterity; ability to work under multiple deadlines and in stressful environments.
