Summary

As Continuous Improvement Director, you’ll be an instrumental part of the regional Audio Visual and Event Technology team, responsible for executing operational requirements for events at branches within the geographic region. Reporting to the VP of National Operations, this highly visible role leverages lean manufacturing expertise, analytical skills, and project management experience to drive operational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives across the region.

You will identify, plan, develop, and implement quality and process improvement practices that deliver improved service, lower costs, enhance quality, and ensure reliability and scalability across regional branches.

This position will support our Audio Visual and Event Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

  • Dallas, TX
  • Las Vegas, NV
  • Orlando, FL
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute priority projects that drive cost efficiency, operational effectiveness, improved customer service, and stronger controls.
  • Scope, plan, and manage projects from initiation through completion.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
  • Analyze risks and dependencies, providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish engagement and escalation processes, including risk and issue management.
  • Evaluate existing processes, procedures, and methods to identify opportunities for standardization, simplification, and improvement.
  • Conduct experiments and collect data to validate process changes and improvements.
  • Prepare and present reports detailing experimental design, results, and recommendations to management.
  • Design and implement processes that optimize efficiency, reduce variability and costs, improve capability, and enhance safety.
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and business processes to sustain improvements over time.
  • Ensure alignment of process improvement techniques with corporate goals and quality policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certification (Black Belt preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement and/or Quality, applying problem-solving methodologies in a business environment.
  • Proficient in Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate.
  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to influence and drive change without formal authority.
