Duties- Administer contracts from initiation through evaluation, award, and closeout.
- Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.
- Manage contractual baselines by maintaining awareness, compliance and tracking of contract modifications, due dates, deliverables, and entering agreements into the contractual repositories.
- Maintain contract filing system to ensure accurate tracking of all contract documents, modifications, and other agreements.
- Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, and other personnel in the section or group.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- 1 to 3 years of experience in federal government/industry acquisition, finance, or contracts functions.
- Experience with a variety of contract types (e.g., CPFF, T&M, FFP) is preferred.
- Proficiency using various software, applications, and programs including Microsoft Office Suite and aptitude to manage other database applications, as required.
- Positive, customer-service focus (internal and external) with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend issues/needs, inspire teamwork, and recommend solutions.
- Ability to multi-task, working on several projects simultaneously.
- Track record of building effective working relationships and communicating successfully.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, follow-through on projects from conception to completion, and complete work accurately and timely.
- Ability to handle unscheduled extended work hours and non-standard workweeks.
- Demonstrated attention-to-detail, initiative/self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible and willing to adjust to the needs and priorities of a growing business.
