Job Description

The Timeshare Director of Sales in Florida leads on‑site resort sales operations, driving revenue through strategic planning, team leadership, and guest engagement. This role oversees a high‑performing sales team, ensures compliance with Florida timeshare regulations, and adapts to seasonal tourism patterns and diverse guest demographics. The Director is responsible for hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a culture of ethical sales practices and operational excellence.

Success in this position requires strong interpersonal skills, data‑driven decision‑making, and the ability to navigate a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market growth
  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales agents, closers, and administrative staff within a points‑based vacation ownership framework
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including tour flow, presentations, and contract execution
  • Ensure full compliance with Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC) and Chapter 721 timeshare regulations, including disclosures and licensure requirements
  • Collaborate with marketing and resort operations to optimize lead generation and guest engagement
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for executive leadership
  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales team members
  • Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and leadership meetings
  • Drive continuous initiatives to enhance team productivity and guest satisfaction
  • Support succession planning and career development for high‑potential team members
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum five years in sales management, preferably in timeshare and hospitality
  • Proven success in managing a points‑based timeshare sales environment
  • Valid Florida Real Estate License required under Chapter 475 and Chapter 721 of the Florida Statutes
  • Completion of any required timeshare‑specific training or certification mandated by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in CRM and digital sales tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with points‑based or multi‑property systems
  • Proven ability to navigate team dynamics professionally
  • Multi‑state operational experience
Travel & Schedule Requirements
  • Occasional travel may be required to affiliated resort properties for training, operational support, or leadership meetings
  • Travel is typically scheduled in advance; overnight stays may be necessary depending on business needs
  • Must be able to travel independently and represent the organization professionally in guest‑facing and team environments
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • All travel will comply with company reimbursement policies and applicable labor regulations
