We’re looking for enthusiastic professionals to join our friendly, engaged, and results-driven team.
- Coordinate assigned group accounts, ensuring accuracy of reservations in the PMS system. Collect payments, process rooming lists, manage cutoff dates, and oversee deadlines. Communicate with group leaders regarding special requests and opportunities to increase room pickup. Communicate with resort operations to ensure readiness for group arrivals.
- Receive and process group inquiries from multiple sources, including IHG brand website, Meeting Broker, Hotel Planner, departmental phone line, and Groups email inbox.
- Responsible for managing assigned projects through completion, such as lead generation, new business initiatives, competitive market analysis, extended stay programs, process improvements, and SOP documentation.
- Partner with Rental Sales Managers to grow rental revenue and provide additional support as needed.
- High school diploma required, and college degree preferred.
- Associate degree in Hospitality Management/Business Administration and/or 2-3 years of experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years of Group coordinator experience.
- Excellent communication skills including written communications, speaking and presentation development and delivery.
- Strong decision making and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work under multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work as a team and be part of a dynamic team environment.
- Possesses strong organizational skills
- Strong skills in balancing folios, reconciling accounts, and working with numbers accurately and efficiently.
- Highly motivated who gets things done with minimal guidance.
- Must have desire to learn, and ability to master new systems and tools.
- Ability to work well with other team members and cross-functional teams.
- Expert level experience required for:
Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
