Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or GED required. Experience with auto/diesel parts preferred.
SummaryThe Parts Coordinator I is responsible for overseeing parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. The role also processes purchase orders, vendor payment requests, and ensures proper purchasing from the right vendor while maintaining inventory levels to maximize customer uptime.
Essential Functions- Primary designee for conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving
- Processing of purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Ensure parts received are properly recorded into inventory
- Oversee parts obsolescence
- Handle warranty and parts returns to vendors
- Maintain parts room organization and cleanliness
- Contribute to cost containment through effective parts processes and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up; acute attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong interpersonal skills
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- 1 year or more in inventory and parts administration/clerical functions (preferred)
- Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred)
- No travel required
