Central Florida Communities, Inc. (CFC) has warm, welcoming, home-inspired facilities and programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in Orange, Brevard, Lake and Seminole Counties.
CFC operates three 64-bed Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled (ICF/DD's), Howell Branch Court, Lake View Court and Washington Square. As a member of our staff, you will be a part of one of these living centers and provide vital around the clock care, which includes nursing and medical oversight, to our residents.

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to assist Program Director and other departments to verify if all documents are update, include information in the system, update and inform activities of the facility and resident to PD and key staff.
Work directly with the Program Director and other department heads in completing designated quality assurance tasks, as well as participating in quality improvement projects that ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines as well as best practices.
Assist each department head as needed in the organization and development of required documentation under the guidance of the Program Director
Maintain filing system for central files and archives. Ensure Federal, State and company regulations are followed concerning residential central files.
Type, copy and distribute facility and resident information which includes facility/appointment calendars, key staff schedules, meetings, in services, family correspondences, newsletters and resident activities as requested.
Input and update all required resident information in to Therap in a timely manner. Complete training for any new Therap updates to maintain competency in assigned duties.
Communicate with the Program Director, Key Staff and clinical team on any immediate needs or concerns in the facility in regards to documentation and organization and assist in making recommendations for quality improvement.
Required Qualification:
Must have High School Diploma or GED and minimally one year experience in an office setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in computer and secretarial skills including Excel, Word, Photoshop and Power point.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$21.50 Hourly
