ResponsibilitiesEssential Functions
- Maintains monthly schedule for all employees.
- Coordinates the approval of all vacation times in accordance with department guidelines.
- Communicates daily staffing needs in a timely manner to the Nursing Operations Manager, Assistant Nurse Managers and/or control desk.
- Proactive with all team members by actively listening, showing a caring attitude and offering alternatives when necessary as related to staff scheduling.
- Presents a professional posture and guards against any unethical business practices or breaks in confidentiality.
- Serves as timekeeper and backup for the payroll process for all time and attendance functions.
- Demonstrates telephone etiquette, communication skills, ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and prioritizes appropriately.
- Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
- Coordinates and assists with special projects.
Education/Training
- High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic computer functions.
Licensure/Certification
- None.
Experience
- Minimum of six (6) months of previous computer and time keeping experience required. Kronos experience a plus.
