Job/Position Summary

Performs administrative and clerical tasks, including compiling material requests, preparing purchase orders, tracking supplies and purchases, and managing inquiries, and customer emails.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative and clerical support to the contracts and purchasing departments.
  • Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents.
  • Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods, services, and contracts.
  • Establishes and maintains recordkeeping systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in the contract / purchasing departments.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of materials and services procurement processes.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including standing or sitting.
  • Capable of lifting to 15 pounds as needed.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance

U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.

Work Schedule

Full-Time: Four (4) ten-hour days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday).

Travel

No travel for this position.
