Educational Requirements
- A.A. Degree or equivalent.
- 1 year of work experience in a similar role.
Performs administrative and clerical tasks, including compiling material requests, preparing purchase orders, tracking supplies and purchases, and managing inquiries, and customer emails.
EssentialJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the contracts and purchasing departments.
- Types reports, purchase orders, memoranda, and other documents.
- Research vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods, services, and contracts.
- Establishes and maintains recordkeeping systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned in the contract / purchasing departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Solid understanding of materials and services procurement processes.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in purchasing or procurement preferred.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, including standing or sitting.
- Capable of lifting to 15 pounds as needed.
U.S. Citizens or lawfully authorized applicants to work in the United States.
Work ScheduleFull-Time: Four (4) ten-hour days, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday).
TravelNo travel for this position.
