Green Light Distribution is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, providing a warm and professional welcome to visitors and callers. This role involves managing the front desk, handling administrative tasks, and supporting various departments with clerical duties.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive.
  • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material.
  • Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining office records.
  • Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed.
Relevant Work Experience and Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be at least 21 years old
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to travel as needed.
