Position: Bilingual Receptionist/Scheduler (English/Spanish)

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly bilingual receptionist/scheduler to join our OB/GYN office team in Orlando and Ocoee. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, efficiently manage appointment scheduling, and assist with a variety of administrative tasks. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is required to ensure effective communication with our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Answer phone calls and emails, providing information and assistance in both English and Spanish.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring accurate records in the scheduling system.
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays and payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Assist patients with completing forms and provide information on services offered.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
  • Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare or administration is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a medical office.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
