Key Responsibilities:
Record, track, and reconcile capital asset transactions, including construction-in-progress
Investigate discrepancies and out-of-balance conditions, applying corrective actions
Prepare journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close
Review capital projects for proper classification, transfers, and depreciation
Analyze financial statement variances related to capital assets and provide explanations
Support leadership with documentation and reporting for financial statement accuracy
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
2–4 years of accounting experience with fixed assets or capital asset accounting
Experience with complex projects, construction-in-progress, or governmental accounting is a plus
