This is a part-time, on-site role for a Controller located in the Greater Orlando/Maitland area. The Controller will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, performing accounts payable and receivable, running payroll through Paychex, and conducting reconciliations. Additionally, the role involves budgeting and forecasting, auditing, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Controller will also support aspects of HR and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in project-based Quick Books accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Skills in accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and auditing
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments
- Experience in the construction/commercial real estate industry
