Key Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant- Perform fixed‑asset data entry, process clearing account invoices, and place assets accurately as the Staff Accountant
- Reconcile Construction‑in‑Progress (CIP) activity, including GL‑to‑system reconciliation and project set‑up as the Staff Accountant
- Determine proper treatment for incoming invoices—expense to P&L or capitalize to project—based on accounting guidelines as the Staff Accountant
- Support month‑end close activities and financial reporting in a multi‑department healthcare environment as the Staff Accountant
- Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks and cross‑functional financial projects as the Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2+ years of accounting experience, including month‑end close and financial reporting
- Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
