our client is a leading specialty construction firm serving the commercial sector and is seeking a regional accounting manager. Their newly built headquarters are located in a desirable area of orlando, fl. This role offers the chance to join a growing team with a strong family-oriented culture. The right person will have the opportunity to shape the role, streamline processes, and support ongoing improvements.

key responsibilities

• perform general cost accounting tasks and related duties within the accounting function

• prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheet, income statement, and p&l

• maintain the general ledger

• code invoices, open new accounts, and complete account reconciliations

• assist with month-end close

• coordinate with external auditors

• file tax forms at the federal, state, and local levels

• compile the monthly accounts receivable reporting package

requirements

• bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience

• background in cost accounting

• experience in construction accounting
