Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting
Compensation: $165,000 to $175,000 + Bonus + Equity
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)
This is not a traditional Controller role. This opportunity sits at the intersection of technical accounting, SEC reporting, and public company readiness within a fast-growing, publicly traded organization.

This role is ideal for someone who loves technical accounting and SEC work and wants to stay close to complex issues without being siloed.
Key Responsibilities- Support and partner with leadership on technical accounting and external reporting matters
- Drive quarterly-end close with a strong emphasis on technical accounting accuracy
- Lead application and interpretation of complex accounting standards,
- Prepare and review technical accounting memos and position papers
- Assist with SEC filings and disclosure support (10-Qs, 10-Ks, footnotes, tie-outs)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, and external auditors
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and public-company reporting requirements
Active CPA required
Big 4 public accounting background required (audit or technical accounting focus)
Direct experience with technical accounting and SEC reporting required
Strong working knowledge of lease accounting, revenue accounting, and public-company close processes
Experience operating in a publicly traded or public-company-ready environment
A technically strong CPA who wants depth over volume
Someone who enjoys complex accounting issues more than people management
A Big 4–trained professional ready to move in-house without giving up technical rigor
