Senior Accountant
Lee Wesley is seeking a Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, hands-on, and motivated to keep our financial operations accurate and efficient as we continue to grow. The Senior Accountant will handle the day-to-day accounting operations while also providing guidance to junior staff and partnering directly with the CFO. This role is highly hands-on preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and reports but also includes leadership in ensuring accuracy, process improvements, and accountability within the finance function.
Key responsibilities include managing general ledger activity, leading the monthly close process, overseeing AP/AR processing, ensuring compliance with GAAP, supervising and mentoring 12 accounting staff, preparing variance analysis, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, 57 years of progressive accounting experience, hands-on experience with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close, strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls, proficiency in accounting software, ability to work independently while providing oversight to junior staff, and strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Work schedule:
8 hour shift, Monday to Friday.
