Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is responsible for processing high-volume accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies. The ideal candidate has strong purchase order (PO) experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings at least two years of hands-on AP experience.

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform three-way matching (invoice, PO, and receipt)
• Review, code, and enter invoices into the accounting system
• Resolve invoice discrepancies and communicate with vendors and internal teams
• Ensure timely payments in accordance with payment terms
• Maintain organized and accurate AP records and documentation
• Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts payable
• Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and procedures

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong high-volume invoice processing experience
• Proven experience working with purchase orders (POs)
• Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proficiency with accounting or ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with invoice imaging and document management systems
