Our company was founded in 2005 and serves the Central Florida Geriatric population. We are a large practice with over 25 providers that serve Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities and our homebound patients in the comfort of their homes.

You will work closely with senior-level accounting professionals, gain exposure to healthcare finance, and build skills that strengthen your resume while making a meaningful impact.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time, Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This on-site role is scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, making it ideal for students balancing coursework. You will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations while learning best practices in a professional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Record Keeping:
  Maintain accurate financial records by updating and reviewing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• Transaction Management:
  Process accounts payable and receivable, assist with daily financial transactions, and support payroll processing.
• Reporting:
  Prepare routine financial reports and assist with the preparation of financial statements while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Support to Senior Staff:
  Work closely with senior accountants and financial managers on accounting tasks, projects, and data analysis.
• Reconciliations:
  Perform bank reconciliations and research discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (experience with accounting software a plus, but not required)
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team
