Senior Accountant
Compensation: $58,000 – $66,000
Location: Winter Park, FL
This newly created Senior Accountant position offers a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact role during a pivotal time for the organization. With approximately $50M in annual revenue, the company is preparing for an upcoming merger. It is hiring a Senior Accountant to strengthen balance sheet oversight and support long‑term leadership planning.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant- Own balance sheet accounting, reconciliations, and month‑end close activities as the Senior Accountant
- Support financial integration efforts related to the upcoming merger as the Senior Accountant.
- Prepare and review journal entries, schedules, and financial reports in accordance with GAAP as the Senior Accountant
- Partner with leadership to ensure consistent accounting practices across entities as the Senior Accountant
- Assist with process improvements, internal controls, and reporting enhancements as the Senior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree; accounting or finance background strongly valued
- Solid balance sheet accounting experience with a strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience in nonprofit or mission‑driven environments is helpful, but not required
