The work itself is varied and engaging. You’ll prepare and review returns across individuals, trusts, partnerships, corporations, and nonprofits. You’ll reconcile business accounts, work directly with partners and clients, and focus on solving real problems rather than just moving tasks through a system. Tax research and clear, practical communication are part of the role, as is mentoring junior staff as the firm continues to grow.

The client mix is roughly 40% individual and 60% business, with revenues ranging from the low millions up to around $25M.

They’re looking for someone with 5+ years of public accounting experience
, holding a CPA or EA
. Strong Quick Books and business accounting experience is important, along with familiarity with Ultra Tax or similar software. Communication, organisation, and client service matter just as much as technical ability. The style that works best here is steady, collaborative, and relationship-driven.
