Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time hybrid role based in Orlando, FL, with some work‑from‑home flexibility. The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and review tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, corporations, and partnerships. Other key responsibilities include conducting tax planning, performing tax research, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff. The role requires close collaboration with team members and partners to support clients’ financial success.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Income Tax Return Preparation, Tax Planning, and Employment and Sales Tax Return Preparation
- Experience with Estate Planning and Business Entity Formation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Quick Books, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred
- 3+ years of experience in tax preparation and accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm
- Knowledge of current federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
