Position Summary:
The Accounts Receivable Administrator supports the finance team by managing invoicing, collections, and related clerical functions to ensure timely and accurate processing of receivables. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Accounts Receivable Administrator is expected to follow established policies and procedures while contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Responsibilities:
- Comply with (and actively promote) all Safety policies and procedures including reporting all accidents, incidents and near-misses to ensure adherence to our Number One Core Value – Safety first, in everything we do.
- Prepare and distribute invoices in accordance with contract terms.
- Monitor accounts receivable and contact clients regarding outstanding balances.
- Accurately post and apply daily cash receipts.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Respond promptly to accounts receivable inquiries from clients and internal staff.
- Perform general clerical tasks, including filing and document management.
Qualifications:
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy in data entry and financial processing.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with vendors, clients, and field personnel.
- Basic accounting knowledge and proficiency with computer systems (ERP or accounting software preferred).
