Junior Accountant

Job Summary

The Junior Accountant supports all aspects of True Health’s internal accounting functions as needed.

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
• Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned.
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
• Assist with other accounting projects.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Associate degree in Accounting/Finance or related field is required;
  Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One to three years of accounting experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

• Working knowledge of and ability to use personal computer and Microsoft Office products in conduct of job.
• Knowledge of and/or ability to quickly learn MIP Financial Software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.

• Reports to the Accounting Manager.

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
