ResponsibilitiesAs a Revenue Recognition Accountant, you will participate in the day-to-day accounting functions in Corporate Finance working closely with all levels of management including the Revenue Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. This position will perform multiple accounting functions related to ASC 606 regarding deferred revenue and revenue recognition accounting processes, including but not limited to:
- Prepare journal entries related to revenue and balance sheet reconciliations, including analyzing and understanding supporting operational and financial records and accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure internal controls critical for timely, accurate, and efficient accounting and reporting for revenue ASC 606.
- Provide assistance to other corporate finance such as financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare deferred pass revenue models and deferred revenue account reconciliations.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 1+ years of accounting experience.
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a team environment.
- Experience in public accounting a plus.
