Overview
Crystal Tree Golf & Country Club is a member owned country club located in Orland Park, Illinois which is in the south suburbs of Chicago. The club was founded in 1989 and has been a staple in the community ever since. The club has 320 golf members and 530 total members. The club hosts 17,500 rounds per year as well as 6-8 Monday outings and over 15 annual club events.
The golf course is a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design with a maximum distance of 6,800 yards. Crystal Tree is a very family orientated country club with many fun golf, social and family activities during the season. There is a strong emphasis on delivering high end customer service.
- PGA Class A Member preferred
- 2+ years experience at a private country club preferred
- Working knowledge of Golf Genius
- The candidate needs to be self motivated and driven to become a Head Golf Professional
- Proficient playing and teaching ability
- Outgoing personality
The qualified candidate will be involved in all day to day areas of the golf operation and be expected to put his/her expertise to use.
- Provide the highest level of member service
- Golf Shop merchandising and sales
- Inventory control
- Organize and run Men s League for the entire season
- Lead on all Club Tournaments
- Event set up using Golf Genius will be a high priority
- Organize and conduct a junior golf program of over 60 children with fellow Assistant Professionals
- Work closely with other Assistant Professionals, Outside Services Manager/Caddiemaster, and Bag Room staff to deliver a high level of service
- Program development
- Always conduct and present yourself in a professional manner.
Work March 1 - end of December (paid year round)
