Account Manager – Software Sales

Location: Chicago, IL (only US Citizens or Green Card holders)

Salary: $80,000 – $90,000 per year with annual bonus and commission; commission uncapped.

This role is 70% outside sales and 30% inside sales, targeting the mid‑market manufacturing sector.

• Lead sales efforts to the mid‑market manufacturing sector.
• Build a sales plan providing integrated software and service solutions to meet prospect and existing customer needs as a strategic business partner.
• Drive all aspects of the sales cycle including proposals, scoping, pricing and contract negotiations.
• Develop proven metrics and reporting to drive the team to achieve success with current and prospective customers.

• Experience as an account executive at an ERP or MES software firm (must have).
• Large‑scale implementation project sales experience with consulting firms such as Cognizant, IBM Global Services, Accenture, PwC, EY, etc.
• Business‑to‑business sales experience in manufacturing space, including prospecting, relationship management, and closing complex deals for consulting‑intense software solutions at the executive level.
• Strong technology skills and familiarity with value‑added manufacturing processes, including digitization needs.
