Intake Insurance TMS Registered Nurse – Part Time Days
Salary range: $34.50 – $55.20 hourly.
Schedule:
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays 6:00 am‑2:30 pm.

The Intake/Insurance/TMS Registered Nurse supports the mission of Northwestern Medicine by conducting nursing assessments for intakes and new admissions, responding to service inquiries, performing ongoing utilization review, follow‑up, case appeal, and ADR activities. The nurse coordinates, schedules, and delivers clinical services for the TMS program, including administering Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation sessions, monitoring patients for safety, and communicating concerns to treating psychiatrists.
The role requires independent decision‑making and collaboration with multiple clinical departments.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure in Illinois.
- Three to five years of psychiatric nursing experience.
- Experience with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and/or Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) preferred.
- Familiarity with prior authorizations and intake processes.
