Overview
Position: Behavior Technician
Location: Orland Park, IL
Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday (hours vary) (1-2 evenings per week)
Compensation: $19.00 - $22.00/hr (pending experience)
Rush Kids Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) to join our fun, collaborative, multi-disciplinary pediatric team. In this role, you’ll work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs under the direction and supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA). Training is provided. Come play a part in supporting our pediatric patients as they learn new skills and achieve their goals.

Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior and communicate to parents and team members regarding a child’s progress - Personalized Treatment:
Work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, in their home and in our center - Specialized Programs:
Implement ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans directed and supervised by a BCBA - High school diploma/GED required
- CPR certification required
- Health Care Experience
- Provide 1:1 ABA-based intervention under BCBA direction.
- Implement and monitor ABA programs and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Collect, record, and report data on observable client behavior.
- Communicate progress and findings to parents and team members.
- Support pediatric clients in learning new skills and achieving goals in home and center settings.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR certification required.
- Experience in health care settings is a plus.
- Interest in pursuing ABA-related credentials (e.g., RBT) encouraged.
